Every BPW Chapter is made up of a volunteer committee who regularly meets to discuss club matters including planning events,
support campaigns and sponsorship.

In addition to our main committee, we have a range of sub-committees, all responsible for different aspects of the club ranging from event coordination, attracting sponsors to helping facilitate this very website.

President

Teena Andrews

Teena has lived in the Moreton Bay area for more than 23 years with her husband and family. Through her business, No Lights No Lycra Morayfield to Brisbane, she hosts dance events and curates playlists. With over 30 years’ experience in marketing, retail sales, graphic artwork and design, and real estate, Teena brings creativity, energy, and strong people skills to her role. A genuine love of connecting with others and organising events makes her excited to serve as BPW Moreton Bay President and look ahead to what’s next.

Vice Pres Policy (VPP)

Vicki Wood

Vicki Wood is a highly connected and engaged member of the Moreton Bay community, with a career spanning local media, marketing, community engagement, events and leadership. During her time as a local newspaper Editor and Community News Director, Vicki was firmly embedded in the community, telling the stories of local people, businesses and organisations and being on the ground at countless events across the region.

Her community involvement has continued well beyond her media career. Vicki has served on local boards, including the Caboolture Chamber of Commerce, and was President of BPW Moreton Bay for four years, leading the organisation through a period of growth, including the amalgamation of BPW Caboolture and BPW North Lakes and the development of initiatives such as the Business Expo and InnovatHer.

Vicki is passionate about connecting women, creating opportunities for meaningful networking and supporting women in both their personal and professional journeys. She brings a strong understanding of the local community, extensive event and stakeholder experience, and a genuine enthusiasm for bringing people together.

As VPP, Vicki is excited to use her experience and connections to help bring BPW events and initiatives to life over the coming year and create opportunities for women to connect, learn, grow and celebrate their successes..

Catherine Hain

Cat has lived in the Moreton Bay Region most of her life and is proud to call it home. She lives locally with her husband and three children. Cat runs two businesses, BBC Bookkeeping and Cleanaroma Cleaning Services, specialising in commercial cleaning and Airbnb management. Passionate about supporting local women in business, Cat enjoys volunteering with BPW, particularly helping new members join and get connected. She loves raising her family in Moreton Bay.

Wendy Nash

Wendy is the founder of Get Around Caboolture, advocating for more transport choice in the Caboolture area. She became particularly interested in how transport systems and street design can be gendered, and how this can make it harder for women to participate fully in community life. Her work explores how better transport and street design can give everyone greater freedom, safety and independence, and genuine choice about how they move around.

Secretary

Michelle Hill

Michelle is an AI Consultant and Trainer who helps businesses make AI practical, useful and relevant to real work. With an MBA, a science background and extensive experience in sales, leadership, digital marketing and business development, she brings a practical, people-focused approach to change. Through Discover Your Edge, Michelle supports leaders and teams to build AI capability, improve productivity and create smarter ways of working. As Secretary of BPW Moreton Bay, she is delighted to contribute her experience, energy and commitment to supporting women in business, leadership and professional growth across the region.

Media & Marketing Officer (MMO)

Vicki Abraham

Vicki Abraham from Better Outcomes Coaching, is a women’s leadership facilitator and executive coach based in Moreton Bay. After a corporate career that included a VP role in telecoms and Communications Director for two global sporting events, Vicki now works with senior women leaders who are done shrinking themselves to fit a masculine mould. Her mission is simple: more women CEOs, who love leading like themselves. Vicki proudly serves as BPW Moreton Bay’s Media & Marketing Officer.

Diane Maxwell

Diane Maxwell is the Principal and Licensee of One Agency Caboolture · Morayfield, bringing extensive experience across real estate, property management and business. As a long-standing member of the local community, Diane is passionate about supporting women in business, building meaningful connections and sharing knowledge. Through BPW Moreton Bay, she enjoys connecting with women from all walks of life and contributing to a supportive and welcoming network.

Keys to Achievement Officer

Linda Upton

Linda has a diverse background, having worked in several sectors including Banking, Education, Medical, and Real Estate. She is currently working for Queensland Parliament.

Linda is an avid reader and enjoys travel when time permits.

Linda has been a member of BPW Moreton Bay since 2012, during which time she has held several committee positions including President, Vice President Policy, Vice President Membership and Secretary. Linda currently holds the role of Keys to Achievement Officer.

Sally Eberhardt

Well-connected from many years in business and attending networking events in the area, Sally Eberhardt is a handy person to know! As Operations Manager of Caboolture Neighbourhood Centre, Sally is dedicated to looking after the team that brings many types of support including upskilling, counselling and advocacy to those in need in the local area.
Building community, building capacity and connecting people for their mutual benefit are Sally’s passions.

Life & Charter Member

Joy Leishman

Joy Leishman is a Charter and Life Member of BPW Moreton Bay, and a long-term resident of the Moreton Bay region with a distinguished record of business and community leadership.

Joy owns Ozilite, an Australian manufacturing company, bringing decades of hands-on business experience to her advocacy for women in business and the professions. Her public service career includes serving as Mayor of Caboolture Shire Council from 2000 to 2008, and as a Shire Councillor from 1985 to 1991. She has also served as a State Government Local Government Grants Commissioner, contributing her expertise to the fair distribution of funding across Queensland communities.

Joy remains actively involved with BPW Moreton Bay and currently serves as Queensland Representative on the BPW Australia Board, continuing her long-standing commitment to the advancement of women in business and the professions.

Brooke Maxwell

Brooke Maxwell is a local real estate professional working across property management, sales and business operations at One Agency Caboolture · Morayfield. As a busy mum of four, Brooke understands the importance of balancing family, career and community involvement. As BPW Moreton Bay’s Young BPW Representative, she is passionate about encouraging younger women to connect, build confidence and become involved in their local business community.
