InnovatHer Event
Terms and Conditions


Eligibility Criteria:
Participants must be women residing in the Moreton Bay region.
Participants must be the owners or potential owners of small businesses, or professional women.


Application Process:
To be considered for the InnovatHer Event, interested participants must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) outlining their business / professional idea and its potential. Submissions must be received by the specified deadline.


Selection Process:
Four finalists will be selected based on the merit of their business idea.
Two finalists will be selected based on the merit of their professional idea.
The decision of the selection panel is final and binding.


Event Date and Location:
The InnovatHer Event is scheduled to take place on May 23, 2026.
The event will be held in the City of Moreton Bay, and specific details regarding the venue will be communicated to the finalists.


Presentation Workshop:
The selected finalists will have access to a premium two-hour workshop to learn how to present their business ideas effectively to the judging panel and audience. Attendance at the workshop is mandatory for all finalists.


Competition Benefits:

  • Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their businesses / professionalism to a panel of experienced judges.
  • Exposure to potential investors and mentors.
  • Valuable feedback and insights to refine business strategies.
  • Networking opportunities with other women entrepreneurs and industry professionals.
  • Competition for prizes, including financial grants, mentoring programs, and more.

Prize Allocation:
The prizes awarded during the event are intended to support the growth of the winning women. The exact nature and value of the prizes will be communicated to the finalists in advance.

General Conditions:
Participants must adhere to the rules and regulations set forth by BPW Moreton Bay. The judge’s decision is final and not subject to appeal.
BPW Moreton Bay reserves the right to disqualify any participant who fails to comply with the terms and conditions.


Publicity and Marketing:
By participating in the event, finalists agree to the use of their names, businesses, and images for promotional and marketing purposes related to the InnovatHer Event.


Event Changes:
BPW Moreton Bay reserves the right to modify or cancel the event at its discretion. In the event of cancellation, participants will be notified in a timely manner.


Acceptance of Terms:
Participation in the InnovatHer Event implies acceptance of these terms and conditions.
BPW Moreton Bay reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and will communicate any changes to participants accordingly.
